Art

Congratulations to our TALENTED ARTISTS.
Their work is on display in the Reception area and the corridor walls around the school.

ROSA:

PALOMA:
Paloma has worked obsessively to recreate this image of the old rusty nail.
She likes to work in a super realist style creating the illusion of existence and posing questions to what really is real.

MARIA M:
This is a small study of one of Maria's obsessive pencil crayon drawings.
This picture demonstrates a highly sophisticated use of the simple medium of coloured pencil crayons.

DIEGO:
This painting is a response to the AS exam question on 'Vortex'.
Diego goes beyond objectivity to create this physically expressive piece of work.

MARIA A:
Maria A has painted the distorted image of a fellow art colleague as seen through a magnifying glass
creating a fish eye view. "I like how people react to seeing themselves from different perspectivesthey are not used to."

ANDREA M:
Water fountain in front of the cathedral in Oviedo.
Andrea has used a combination of objective and subjective marks to recreate the sense of falling water over a sculptural form.
